The San Diego County Medical Society was formed in 1870. It is the premier trade association for the medical profession in the San Diego area. As a sponsored broker with the SDCMS, Barney & Barney's working relationship with the Society extends back to World War II. We provide medical malpractice and other insurance coverages for hundreds of the Association's members. Barney & Barney works with all the major insurance markets. An experienced staff of insurance professionals is dedicated to providing comprehensive service to Society members.
Member Benefits
The medical programs for the SDCMS are provided through the San Diego Employers Association. To participate in the medical programs, you must join the Greater San Diego Employers Association. Membership in the SDCMS is required to participate in the other sponsored plans:
- Life
- Disability income
- Disability overhead expense
- Workers' Compensation
