Meet Angelica Amico, a Client Manager II and learn more about why employees who go the distance decide to do so with Barney & Barney.

Angelica Amico


Angelica Amico first heard of Barney & Barney through a longtime family friend. After spending time as a stay-at-home mom and then working at a small broker in San Clemente, Angelica jumped into her first role at Barney & Barney as a Benefit Analyst. Through informal mentoring, Angelica learned a lot and learned quickly. Joining Barney & Barney has helped her gain confidence to progress in her role and career

Originally from Venezuela, Angelica and her family moved to Massachusetts when she was ten.  Angelica and her husband met in college and moved to California after they married.  She now lives in San Clemente with her husband and two children.  Her daughter will be starting freshmen year at the University of Rhode Island and her son starting San Clemente High School in the fall.

Why B&B

In her role as Client Manager II, Angelica works with 11 different clients with around 100 - 3,000 employees each. She loves going to open enrollment meetings and getting to know everyone on a personal level. Spanish fluency allows her provide additional aid to Spanish speaking individuals.

Angelica loves working in the Orange County office because everyone is very helpful and easy-going. “During crunch time so many things have to come together. I’m amazed how the people here support each other.”
