STEVE FINDEN
Steve joined Barney & Barney in July of 2001 after 14 years of group insurance experience. Steve’s background includes executive leadership, carrier sales and large account management.
A 1987 graduate (B.A.) of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, Steve worked for Mass Mutual, Blue Cross of California, and PacificCare Health Systems. He completed the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program through Wharton University in 1990, and maintains fellowship in the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS).
Steve provides an “insider’s view” of insurance company strategies and operations, and manages several of Barney & Barney’s largest clients, including San Diego City Schools, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and The Scripps Research Institute.
Steve is a member of The Board of Directors for Barney & Barney, sits on The Executive Committee of BusinessLink for the University of San Diego, and represents Barney & Barney on The Council of Agents & Brokers (CIAB).
