Paul was elected as Managing Principal/CEO of Barney & Barney in 2004. He has been with the firm since 1985 and has developed his expertise in the areas of strategic planning, administration and operations. Paul’s background also includes insurance program design and risk management on behalf of large commercial clients. Prior to joining Barney & Barney, he was an Underwriter with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.

As Managing Principal/CEO, Paul serves on Barney & Barney’s Executive Committee. His civic and business activities include:

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA. He holds both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, both of which he earned through advanced study in the field of insurance. He has also completed Executive Leadership Training at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
