Pat is a Principal in Barney & Barney’s Commercial Department where he specializes in the placement of property, casualty and workers’ compensation insurance programs for large and middle market companies. He has a keen understanding of business, working closely with his clients to structure alternative risk programs that are tailored to their specific needs.

Pat is a leader on the Technology/Life Science Practice team, which focuses on the unique needs of clients in these industries. He also leads a property/casualty team ensuring their focus is listening to clients to deliver more than expected.

In addition to working with clients in the technology and life science industries, he also serves clients in the real estate, development and manufacturing sectors.

Pat holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from California State University at Chico. He has achieved the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).

He is active in Biocom and Connect and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Liver Foundation.
