Chuck has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and has an extensive background in all aspects of Employee Benefits, including Health, Pension and Life Insurance. Chuck has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and is obtaining his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
Chuck came to Barney & Barney after 10 years with Willis Corroon where he was Vice President and Employee Benefits Manager. Chuck works closely with several Associations in town such as the SDEA and the Associated General Contractors where he is on several committees. He has been a pioneer in the development of medical plans in Mexico and has had several articles on the subject published. He has served in several leadership capacities with the Boy Scouts of America and in his church. He loves working with young people and coaches youth soccer, basketball and baseball. Chuck likes to participate in most sports, including basketball, cycling and hiking.
